Fall Leaf Collection Schedule Announced for Residents

The Garwood Department of Public Works has announced the schedule for its Fall Leaf Collection program.

For residents on the North Side, leaf pickup will occur on the following dates:

- November 18th to November 23rd

- December 2nd to December 7th

- December 18th will be the final pickup date.

For those living on the South Side, leaf collection is scheduled on these dates:

- November 11th to November 16th

- November 25th to November 30th

- December 9th to December 14th

- The final pickup will also take place on December 18th.

Residents are reminded that leaf bags are available for pickup at the Department of Public Works building located at 15 South Avenue. During the leaf pickup program, leaves must be placed at the curb in biodegradable paper bags or in cans that are no larger than 35 gallons.
